Extra Labor

Posted in Career & Work by Jerome on May 16, 2007

Yesterday was my last day at work at the Foundation. My stint there was short, but sweet to say the least, and very memorable. Working for a non-profit involved with children’s welfare has been a big eye opener. Sadly, I felt it is not the proper place for me, in terms of technical knowledge and practical expertise. But I will definitely support the goals and aspirations of the foundation as much as I can (I only live 20 minutes away from the office anyways).

So today is my first day as a member of the “extra labor” globally available, and planning to take a month-long break before doing any serious job hunting, but invitations to apply will be entertained, not to mention thanked greatly. In case you’re interested, my LinkedIn page gives a good overview of my past and present activities, commercial and community.
